T2 DOUBLE TUBE CORE BARREL
This double core barrel gives a high penetration because of the small cutting surface. The inner non rotating tube preserves the sample from the torsional stress of the rods and prevents from washing out the core. It gives a high penetration in hard rocks because of the small cutting surface with all the consequent benefits as high coring percentage, less bending and wear on the equipment.
T6 DOUBLE TUBE CORE BARREL
Especially suitable for coring with higher penetration speed in any kind of formation. Due to its large fluid passage, it is more suitable than T2 type especially for obtaining core in soft and friable formations where it is necessary for high core recovery to use drilling water and mud.
