Hydraulic piston sampler

This sampler reduces the disadvantages sometimes occur with the open type samplers and is widely used in case of limes, clays and sands. The sampler is lowered.

Water is pumped through the rods to the mobile head driving the sampling tube. After the mobile piston reaches the lower piston, water may climb up through the stem-holes.
